This was quite the junk food day.  We didn’t really have a great excuse for it other than me being so tired.  My allergies are torturing me, but I’m not sure loading up on excess calories really helped me all that much.  It’s still nice to have that little break every now and then.

Food List 8–14 January

I decided to see if I was able to complete the 30 plant foods per week challenge, but I can’t just do a thing without adding levels of difficulty. In my list, I’ve included all spices and varieties, but still made sure that excluding those I reached 30.

Daily Log: 7 November 2023

  • Oatmeal: quick oats, rolled oats, apples, JSS Candy Apple Syrup

NOTES: I’m craving beans.  I will try to start incorporating a small amount each day to deal with it; I sometimes do miss just having a whole can as a meal, but at the moment it’s just too many calories all at once.  It’s easy enough to just have a few with my other meals though.  We will see.

Weight loss seems slow right now.  I was mentally prepared for plateaus, but not for how to resolve them.  I’m a little frustrated, but I’m not discouraged.  I just feel like I’ve arrived at a puzzle and I’m not sure how to solve it.  Hopefully I figure it out though.  I’ve got a long way to go.  I need to look at my log critically and start whacking at things that aren’t helping.  There are a few areas to try.

NOTES: I’m pretty sure this is correct, but this is the first time since August that I didn’t write down what I ate in a day. I was so busy working on cleaning out the shed and when I finished, I sort of showered and crashed.  Long day–good day, but I’ll have to try to not go an entire day without recording anything.
